Pirate Tower in Laguna Hills, CA
The Pirate Tower is a popular destination in Laguna Beach. This is a nice sight to take pictures and just chill and relax. However, the tower itself is not open to the public as this is a private property. This 60-foot castle inspired tower was built sometime in 1926. According to stories, it was part of the original house of California State Senator William Edward Brown. The Pirate Tower was then used a way to get from the house down to the beach. The structure is made from concrete and ocean stone. Inside, there is a wooden spiral stairway. The tower is one of the few remaining examples of architecture inspired during the WW I era.
